Thomas Health Cancer Center is a full service, regional treatment center, offering a compassionate and supportive atmosphere, along with advanced medical cancer treatment. Thomas Health clinicians treat virtually every type of cancer, including breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, head and neck, and hematological disorders.
Along with advanced cancer care, we offer a full range of supportive care services. Whether treatment includes chemotherapy or radiation therapy, involvement from nurses, dieticians, social services, or pastoral care, assures our patients that our commitment to high quality, compassionate care is always our priority.
The Thomas Health Cancer Center is pleased to offer oncology patients Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT). It is an advanced method of radiotherapy utilizing sophisticated computer-driven equipment to continuously adjust the degree of radiation intensity. This method allows maximum dose delivery to the tumor while limiting exposure to the surrounding healthy tissues.
The Radiation Therapy Department at Thomas Health is proud to partner with the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. With Maury Rosenstein, MD as our Radiation Oncologist, this partnership welcomes an advanced level of care and excellence in treating cancer.
