Originally from Beckley, West Virginia, Dr. Stover completed his Undergraduate Studies in Biology at West Virginia University. He received his medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed his residency in Orthopedics in Cleveland, Ohio, at South Pointe Hospital, which is part of Cleveland Clinic. Most recently, he completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction with emphasis on revisions of hip and knee replacements, as well as the anterior approach to hip replacement at Carillon Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Stover is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, The American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Dr. Stover specializes in primary hip and knee replacements including; complex cases, revisions and fractures around implants. Additionally, he specializes in anterior approach to hip replacement, but all general orthopedic referrals are welcome.
